Rules & Info

Roster: 17 slots: 2 QB, 3 RB, 3 WR, 2 K, 2 DEF and 5 wild card spots. Players must play in the ACC, Big 10, Big XII, Big East, SEC, Pac 12, C-USA, and MWC, with Notre Dame and BYU also available as independents.

Draft: Each year there will be a draft in which teams will fill holes from graduation, early entry to NFL draft or drops. The draft order is set by regular-season finish, with the exception of the first pick being awarded to the winner of the consolation bracket the previous season. Rosters can be comprised of whatever positions you want after the draft, but they must meet minimum position requirements by the end of drop/add.

Drop/Add: After the draft there will be a period for adding and dropping players to and from the free agent pool. This add/drop will be first come/first serve. When the drop/add period is complete, all rosters must have the minimum number of players at each postion. Dropping and adding during the regular season is not allowed.

Lineups: 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 K, 1 DEF. Lineups must be submitted every week to earn points. The league must be notified prior to kickoff if you plan to use a player in a midweek game or early Saturday kickoff, otherwise lineups are due before gametime for all your players. Our week begins on Wednesday and runs until the following Tuesday. Therefore, Tuesday games count for the Saturday before/Wednesday games count for the Saturday following. Rosters are limited to 17 players.

Schedule: Ten week regular season starting the first full weekend of college football with three weeks of playoffs. Championship Week will be held over the last two weekends of November with only one game counting towards that player's score for the week.

The game week is Wednesday through Tuesday... so Sept. 9, for example, the game week is Sept. 6-12.

Trade Deadline is Midnight Eastern Wednesday Night/Thursday Morning during Week 6.

Playoffs: Top three teams make it to the playoffs, bottom three teams play in a tournament for the #1 draft pick the following season. The division winners receive a bye in the championship bracket and the last place team receives a bye in the draft pick bracket. Ties are decided first by head-to-head record if there is not head-to-head record or it does not break the tie most total points will be the tie-breaker. Draft pick tourney winner receives the number one pick, champion receives the last pick, the rest of the draft is determined by regular season record and tie-breakers.

When submitting your lineups for the playoffs, be sure to designate three players (1 QB, 1 RB and 1 WR) with an asterisk. These will be used in the event of a tie, and the scores of your three players will determine the winner.

The finals will be determined by the last two weeks of the regular season (prior to the conference championships).

Rule Changes: There will be a period prior to the draft every year for rule change proposals. In order for a rule change to pass it must receive 67% of the vote (8/12).

Trades: Trades can be made until the trade deadline and can involve draft picks one year ahead. Example: During the 2006 draft and 2006 season teams can trade draft picks from the 2007 draft. Once the 2006 season officially ends, trade can be made involving both 2007 and 2008 draft picks. In season trades must involve equal numbers of position players to maintain the correct roster alignments on each team. Example: A RB for an RB (any number of draft picks may be included)

League reserves the right to veto any trade that appears to circumvent the idea of fair competition.
